Terms and Conditions of SCVO Credit Union Member Online Account Service 1. Definitions 1.1 In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:- 'Account' means an account held by a Member with the Credit Union; ‘Credit Union' means SCVO Credit Union Limited authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FSA registered no. 213888) (credit union registered no. 135CUS); 'Member' means a member of the Credit Union who: * is 18 years of age or over; * holds an Account; and * has submitted a completed Registration Form to the Credit Union which has been accepted by the Credit Union. 'Registration Form' means the application and registration form completed by a Member applying to access the Services; 'Services' means those services to be provided by the Credit Union to Members via the Website, as more fully described in clause 10; 'Terms and Conditions' means these Terms and Conditions, as amended, extended, or replaced by the Credit Union from time to time; 'Website' means www.scvo.org.uk/creditunion[a][b] as owned and operated by the Credit Union pursuant to the Terms and Conditions. 1.2 In the Terms and Conditions, the singular shall include the plural and vice versa and reference to any gender shall include all genders. 2. Who we are and how to contact us 2.1 The Website is operated by the Credit Union. 2.2 To contact the Credit Union, please email credit.union@scvo.org.uk. 3. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions 3.1 By using the Website and / or the Services, you confirm that you accept the Terms and Conditions and that you agree to comply with them. 3.2 If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Website or the Services. 3.3 We recommend that you print a copy of the Terms and Conditions for future reference. 4. Other terms that may apply 4.1 The Terms and Conditions refer to the following additional terms, which also apply to your use of the Website and the Services: * The terms and conditions in relation to the Account; * The Privacy Policy http://www.scvo.org.uk/creditunion/privacy-cookies-policy/ which sets out the terms on which the Credit Union processes any personal data collected from you, or that you provide to the Credit Union. By using the Website, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate. * The Acceptable Use Policy https://scvo.org.uk/accessibility/ which sets out the permitted uses and prohibited uses of the Website. When using the Website, you must comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. * The Cookie Policy http://www.scvo.org.uk/long-form-posts/privacy-cookies-policy/ which sets out information about the cookies on the Website. 5. Use of the Website The Services and the Website are for use by Members only. The Services and Website are not for use by any other persons or organisations. 6. Amendments The Website, the Services and / or any information contained on the Website, may be updated and changed from time to time to reflect changes to Members' needs or regulatory changes as prescribed by the PRA or FCA. The Credit Union will try to give you reasonable notice of any major changes. 7. Suspension or withdrawal of Website 7.1 The Website is made available free of charge. 7.2 The Credit Union does not guarantee that the Website, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. The Credit Union may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Website for business and operational reasons. The Credit Union will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal. 7.3 You are responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Website through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and Conditions and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them. 8. Accounts The Credit Union has a legal obligation to ask any persons attempting to register an Account for acceptable identification and separate verification of their current permanent address before opening an Account. If you are unable to provide the required documentation then please contact the Credit Union.[c][d] 9. Registration Form The Credit Union may in its absolute discretion without assigning any reason, refuse to accept a Registration Form and / or request for registration. 10. Services to Members 10.1 The Credit Union may supply from time to time, at its discretion, to Members the Services which may include (without limitation) the following:- 1. access to information on the Member's Account, including the balance of, and details of recent transactions on, the Account; 2. request statements on the Member’s Account; 3. the ability to apply for, or access, personal loan facilities; and / or 4. access to information in relation to other online services for Members. 10.2 The Services must be used by Members strictly in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. 10.3 The Member shall disconnect and exit the Services when not availing of same.
